Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Polishit (“the Service”), operated by Polishit (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Polishit is an AI-powered message rewriting tool that helps users rephrase emails, messages, and other text in different tones — including polite, professional, friendly, firm, and concise. The Service is powered by large language model technology and is provided “as is” for personal and professional communication assistance.

AI-generated output may not always be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your specific context. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any rewritten content produced by the Service.

2. Free and Pro Plans

The Service is offered under two tiers:

Free Plan: Allows up to 3 message rewrites per day at no charge. No account is required. Daily limits reset at midnight UTC.
Pro Plan: Provides unlimited rewrites for a monthly subscription fee of $9.00 USD. A Polishit account is required to access Pro features.

We reserve the right to modify plan features and limits at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Payment Terms

The Pro Plan is billed at $9.00 USD per month. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@polishit.io. Upon cancellation, you will retain Pro access through the end of your current billing period. Your subscription will not renew after that date.

4. No Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any subscription payments. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your current billing period.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@polishit.io within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not use the Service to:

Send or facilitate spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or phishing communications
Generate content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory
Create or distribute content that is fraudulent or intentionally misleading
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the underlying AI models or infrastructure of the Service
Use automated means to access or use the Service beyond the limits of your plan without our express written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user found to be in violation of this policy, without notice and without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original text you submit to the Service. You also own the AI-generated output produced from your input. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your input solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

All other content, branding, software, and technology comprising the Service is owned by or licensed to Polishit and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or appropriate for your use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Polishit and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10.00 USD.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York.
